I come across what I see in front of me. Or is it the other way around: I see what I come across.
I think it's both. I go out, always 'premeditated' and I always see what I come across. But what I see, I have noticed by now, strongly depends on the premeditation with which I go out.
It produces images that reflect my frame of mind for that moment. Images that show the exchange of me with the landscape at that time. You should call it the dialogue between me and the landscape.
Whenever I go out with I see what I come across, I am surprised by the overwhelming energy that the landscape exerts on me. Whatever my frame of mind is, the landscape responds with images that surprise me every time when I revisit them and take me back to the place and emotion of that moment.
